Hi All,
I just thought I'd give you a quick update on all that's been happening here...
Poppy
Poppy is doing great at the moment. She has just finished school for the summer, and she will be a junior when she returns in September. Time flies! She is thrilled as she has grown 2.6cm (about 1") in the 2 months since starting growth hormones! WOW!! And she has once again made us very proud by getting 3 level 3s & 2 level 2a's in her SATS at school - level 3 is the highest level you can achieve, so we are amazed!!! We would have been extremely happy if Poppy had achieved average marks, especially after so much surgery & radiotherapy, but yet again she exceeded all of our expectations. Well done, Poppy!!!

Poppy & Baby Lily
Baby Lily is now 9 weeks old, she is a very happy, contented baby, just like Poppy was. Poppy is loving every minute of being a big sister! Lily can't take her eyes off Poppy too! Thank you everyone for your kind cards, gifts & messages - we were overwhelmed to receive so many!!

Fundraising
We'd like to say WELL DONE to Matt & Jayne who completed their 26 mile walk for 'Poppy Fields' - with huge blisters to show for it - they raised a fantastic £535 - with the help of Matt's LFC collectors group. WOW!!! Thank you so much!!! Also, we would like to thank Dean Moseley & all at 'Smiths News' for buying our 'Poppy Fields' charity wristbands & raising £75, thank you!
Poppy's Friends
As always we ask for your prayers for Poppy's special & brave friends. We have some very sad news to share - Jak passed away as a result of his brain tumour in July & Jazmine's cancer has returned & is now terminal. Our love, thoughts & prayers are with their families at this terribly hard time. We however have great news to share, Jasmine received a new kidney in July after 3 years of dialysis & should hopefully be coming home very soon. Please pray for Abi, George, Jasmine, Haydn, Mia, Hope, Alex, Liberty, Ashley, Jazmine & all of the special kids from our Facebook Oncology group of friends, Poppy Fields Special Mums & Dads & the Optic Glioma Online support group, Thank you.
Love & best wishes to you all,
Lisa, Brian, Poppy & Lily Guilder
